Diana Stetsenko is a Ukrainian principal ballet dancer from Kyiv, known for her lyrical artistry, refined classical technique, emotional depth, and expressive stage presence. A graduate of the Kyiv State Choreographic School, she has performed with major European ballet institutions and international touring companies, including the Lviv National Opera, the National Opera of Ukraine, Semperoper Dresden, and Classical Arts Entertainment / The United European Ballet Company.

Her repertoire includes leading and featured roles in Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, The Snow Queen, Forest Song, Don Quixote, and Giselle. Today, Diana continues to perform internationally as a Principal Dancer with Classical Arts Entertainment, bringing elegance, strength, and emotional sincerity to every role.

  • Diana Stetsenko was born on April 17, 2001, in Kyiv, Ukraine. She began her professional ballet training at the age of seven at the School of Arts in Kyiv, where her early talent, discipline, and natural musicality quickly became evident. At the age of twelve, she entered the Kyiv State Choreographic School, one of Ukraine’s most respected classical ballet institutions, and graduated in 2019.

    After graduation, Diana joined the Lviv National Opera, beginning her professional career in one of Ukraine’s leading opera and ballet theaters. In 2020, she continued her artistic development at the National Opera of Ukraine, performing in classical repertoire and gaining valuable experience within a major national ballet company.

    In 2022, Diana received a contract with Semperoper Dresden in Germany, further expanding her international professional experience by touring and appearing before audiences across Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and North America.

    In 2025, Diana joined the ballet troupe of Classical Arts Entertainment, where she now performs as a Principal Dancer with The United European Ballet Company. Her work with the company continues to highlight her elegant classical line, expressive interpretation, and strong command of both lyrical and technically demanding roles. Classical Arts Entertainment lists Diana Stetsenko among its Principal Dancers.

    Diana’s repertoire includes Mavka in Forest Song, Clara in The Nutcracker, Gerda in The Snow Queen, Aurora in The Sleeping Beauty, Odette in Swan Lake, as well as featured roles including Little Swans, Pas de Trois, Brides, Cupid, Street Dancer, Myrtha, and Peasant Pas de Deux.

    Her performance as Gerda in The Snow Queen was noted in The Harvard Crimson, which identified her as one of the production's central performers. In Australia, Australian Arts Review wrote about Diana’s performance as Mavka in Forest Song, noting the stylish quality of the choreography and the impressive partnering and lifts in the production.

    Diana Stetsenko has toured in Germany, Italy, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, the United States, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Latvia, Finland, Iceland, and Estonia. Her international career reflects the discipline, resilience, and artistic strength of a new generation of Ukrainian ballet artists.
