Ilona Baitler is a Ukrainian prima ballerina and principal dancer known for her elegant classical technique, expressive artistry, and powerful stage presence. Born in Dnipro, Ukraine, she represents a new generation of ballet artists whose performances combine refined academic training with emotional depth and dramatic clarity. Her repertoire includes leading roles in Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, The Nutcracker, Don Quixote, Giselle, Snow White, and The Forest Song.

 

 

  • Ilona Baitler was born on January 27, 2002, in Dnipro, Ukraine. She began her classical ballet training at an early age and developed her artistic foundation through years of dedicated study, discipline, and performance experience.

    Ilona studied at the Dnepropetrovsk Theater and Art College and completed her professional ballet training at the Dnepropetrovsk School of Classical Dance, where she trained under the guidance of E. A. Dubrovina. During her training, she developed a strong classical foundation, musical sensitivity, and a refined stage presence that later became central to her artistic identity.

    In 2020, Ilona joined the ballet troupe associated with the Dnipro Academic Opera and Ballet Theater / Dnepropetrovsk Academic Opera and Ballet Theater. As a company member and performer with combined touring ballet troupes, she appeared on international stages in France, Germany, Switzerland, and Poland.

    Her repertoire includes both principal and soloist roles in major classical ballets. She has performed Odette and Odile in Swan Lake, Aurora in The Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella in Cinderella, Clara / Marie in The Nutcracker, Kitri and Cupid in Don Quixote, Mavka in The Forest Song, and leading roles in Giselle and Snow White. Her work reflects versatility, technical control, lyricism, and the ability to bring dramatic character to the stage.

    Ilona has also received recognition at international ballet competitions. Her awards include First Prize at Best Fest in Kharkiv, First Prize at Slobozhanske Kolo in Kharkiv, First Prize at Ballet Seasons in Odesa, and Second Prize at Thought-Stream in Kyiv.

    As a principal dancer with Classical Arts Entertainment / The United European Ballet Company, Ilona continues to perform for audiences across North America and internationally. A review in The Santa Barbara Independent praised her Odette-Odile in Swan Lake for impeccable technique, endurance, and strong character interpretation.

    Today, Ilona Baitler is recognized as a rising prima ballerina of the new generation, admired for her elegance, emotional expression, and dedication to the classical ballet tradition.

  • Ilona Baitler received her professional ballet education in Dnipro, Ukraine. She studied at the Dnepropetrovsk Theater and Art College and completed her classical ballet training at the Dnepropetrovsk School of Classical Dance. Her teacher was E. A.
